A meeting of the
Faculty of Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences, Lahore led by it's Dean Prof. Armaghan Israr Mirza, along with fellows of CPSP held with the President of College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan, Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, at Regional Center Lahore, on 28th October, 2025.
Prof. Armaghan briefed the Hon'ble President, CPSP about the clinical facilities and academic activities of FJIDS. Prospects regarding Post Graduate Fellowship Programs were also discussed. He requested the President CPSP to facilitate for accreditation of these programs by the CPSP.
Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal said that CPSP will facilitate new emerging institutes to start Post Graduate programs while ensuring strict adherence to CPSP's standards of accreditation in order to keep the quality of training at par with international standards for which the CPSP is known across the globe. On this occasion he also appreciated the step taken by Government of the Punjab (Health Department) by establishing a Dental Institute which was the need of the people of province of Punjab. In this way the burden of other dental institutions will also be shared for better dental healthcare facilities to the masses of the region.
