Prosthodontics (Fixed & Removable Prosthesis)

Prosthodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry focused on the design, creation, and fitting of artificial replacements for missing or damaged teeth and oral structures. It includes both:

  • Fixed Prosthesis: Permanent dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, and implants that are securely attached and cannot be removed by the patient.
  • Removable Prosthesis: Dental appliances such as complete or partial dentures that can be taken out and reinserted by the patient.

The goal of prosthodontics is to restore function, comfort, aesthetics, and overall oral health.
